Cheers To The New Year And The New You!

Happy New Year! Saying goodbye to 2022 has come and gone and there’s nothing more promising than 2023! Unlike most, I wanted to not rush to post, but give some real thought to what I would convey not only to you, but myself as well. I’ve never been a fan of making New Year resolutions because it’s a false hope of staying on track with the actual goal where you end up failing before starting. Truth of the matter is, change requires buy in to a lifestyle adjustment. Your words posses the power to set your life towards a trajectory of limitless possibilities. These words spoken posses powers to change the course of your destiny towards that of failure or that of great success in life or even a New Year’s resolution. Proverbs 15:4 tells us, “A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.” So, be careful of what you say. That little tongue is as powerful as an army of a hundred thousand men and its words can cut the psyche into slivers of hopelessness. If there’s no hope, there is no dream giving sparks to great possibilities. There you have it; the year 2023 is a new year of possibilities. It’s a new year for the new an improved you. It’s time to be no longer afraid, and unapologetic about being who God declared you to be. The only connections to being the best possible you is your faith and relationship with God. What better person to take on the journey towards greatness than the orchestrator and finisher whom time after time has proven to never leave nor forsake us when times have gotten rough. So my thoughts on 2023; a year of great possibilities is quite simple; do you, but take Jesus on the journey. HE is a friend who never lost a battle, a lily in the deepest valley, a bright light in darkness, and your greatest advocate with limitless adversaries at his disposal. Now that’s a powerful friend who’s only a prayer away. Go boldly into this new year of great possibility, but go with God. Keep the faith trusting the process even if it seems unclear, stay prayerful while building your relationship with him. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, “For I know the plans I have for you, ‘declare s the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Without a doubt, you will have some ups and downs as well as good days and a few bad days, but HE will deliver on the plans he has set in motion for your life. No matter what he continues to do just that for me. So, I know he’s pretty capable of doing the same thing for you. Can’t wait to see all the great possibilities you will bring this year into fruition. In the meantime, wishing you God’s blessings on your journey. Happy New Year to the new you, and my friend of limitless possibilities.
